Mtech Bowie MT-488 Extreme Budget SHTF / Bushcraft Knife

Review of the Mtech Bowie MT-488 fixed blade knife. This beast cost me about $12 at wild bills wholesale and was one of my better bargain finds. As any M-tech knife this is 440 stainless steel. it is about 7" in length and is full tang construction with painted wood overlays. the blade is amazing sharp and thick and well designed. This knife is very comparable in size and shape to a K-bar or Ontario Knife. This knife is very high value and probably the best quality you can get in the price range. I definitely see this as a budget bushcraft or SHTF knife for anyone who is looking for a lot of blade for under $15. Quality can be hit or miss with these chinese knives, but I think this one is definitely a home run. It's not the prettiest knife on earth, but it will definitely get the job done.
