The "opening knife" is the 1918 Folding Knife from Tiger USA (Wildbill Wholesale). The first two swords shown are the "Fortress Short Sword" by Tomahawk. They go for $10 each from Cutlery USA. They are basically full tang machetes. And from Kult of Athena (historical sword site), The Kriss Cutlery Barong ($130) and the Paul Chen Tactical Wakizashi from Hanwei Forge ($120).

@davism4a1 The …
@davism4a1 The Fortress Swords have a flat grind, small bevel, and then a hollow grind, so I might not use them for any heavy chopping of wood, hollow grind is a little weak for that. They’d be good for slicing a large roast lol, or light brush maybe. The Wakizashi and Barong are carbon steel and thick also, so they can stand up to abuse, but they’re nice so I won’t beat them into anything too dense. ~Israel

@DemonHide – The handle on the Waki is kind of like the kraton coating on the Cold Steel Kobun, not very traditional, but it grips ya back :]

Oh yeah, I was thinking of Tardisius when you pulled those matching swords out. Interesting shape on the barong, seen those a few times. Reminds me of a round-bellied shark! That Wakizashi is bad-ass, been wanting one myself except with a non-rubberized handle if possible. Very cool.

@alucard5628 Lol …
@alucard5628 Lol thanks, I’ll take that as a compliment. I subscribe to a lot of hardcore knife and firearms collectors on here. Many of them have an EDC folder worth more than all these swords put together. Some have a single firearm worth more than my top ten knives put together. I like my collection, but as far as sheer monetary value it isn’t “elite.” ~Israel

@WeAllJuggleKnives …
@WeAllJuggleKnives Indeed, their prices are perhaps the most competitive I’ve seen online. Plus they’ll price match any place that has the exact same sword for cheaper. Only other place I like as much is the Sword Buyer’s Guide store, because many of their swords are free shipping in the US and Canada. (Although they don’t have as large of a selection as Kult of Athena, it’s still quite decent).
@Kisk79 Yeah I’m …
@Kisk79 Yeah I’m pretty excited since these are my first “real” swords, as opposed to just the beaters I’ve had. Kult of Athena seemed to have very good prices and selection and the shipping was only 5 days. ~Israel

Kult of Athena is …
Kult of Athena is probably my number one place to order swords from. Really great customer service, and they’ve always had fast shipping for me as well. If you ever have the chance to visit their showroom in Chicago, you should go. Really nice presentation.
Nice blades by the way, I’m really digging the look of those Fortress Short Swords, I might have to get a couple myself and that baorong is beastly.
